Multiple Reports confirm that Seth Curry, the brother of Stephen Curry, will indeed sign a non guaranteed contract with the Golden State Warriors. The signing will pair Seth with his older brother Stephen, who is coming off a breakout season in the 2012-2013 NBA season.
Seth Curry played his college ball at Duke University where he shot 44 percent from the three point line for Coach K and the Blue Devils.
According to ProBasketballTalk.com, Seth Curry had an offer from an Italian team but passed. The move by the Warriors is an extremely low risk proposition. The signing is merely an invite to training camp, and nothing else. Many scouts around the league expect Seth Curry to be released before the end of camp, and sign overseas. That being said, you can never count out the Curry boys. Stephen Curry was overlooked as a high school prospect, which forced him to land at Davidson University. After becoming a household name while at Davidson, he declared for the draft and was a lottery selection by the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors currently have 13 players on their roster and have room to sign Seth although very unlikely with the backcourt depth they have.
Regardless, the Curry boys will be together at training camp and that is a feel good story. Congrats to the Curry family!
